HTC Incredible S

The unfortunate name aside (seriously, someone who does not say it out loud before it was announced?), The Incredible S is a pretty big smartphone. Connectivity is flawless, a magnificent spectacle, and cool knobs these proven Snapdragon power under the hood.

HTC has gained a reputation and it's no wonder that the launch of The Incredible D met with excitement. Their new best-selling potential is too important for the device to remain unnoticed, even if you are trying to be a simple evolution, a revolutionary step forward.

It seems incredible that S has the right set of ingredients to make a really capable smartphone at a reasonable price (for a high end device, that is).

Design:

We are pleased to HTC finally moved into the design theme. S The back of the incredible disorder may or may not be to your liking, but certainly not go unnoticed.

The good levels of brightness, accurate colors and high contrast (by LCD standards) 4 "WVGA display makes images pop. And the most impressive part is that there is very little or no loss of contrast and color distortion, although I have looked at extreme angles.

The viewing angles, for practical purposes, as good as the retina and Super AMOLED.

Now the question only of the screen that HTC has not yet been discussed is only a reflection and a translation of sunlight readability. Incredible box S is lost a huge part of its charm when not in full light, and even if it is unusable in bright sunlight, is not a nice experience.

In addition, the sensitivity of the capacitive touch screen is just great.

Start by HTC Incredible S, we introduce a new test for our regular routine. We will publish the measured contrast of the display for each unit we will review, with its moderate levels of black and white.

The test was repeated twice for each phone - once with it the full screen brightness at 100% and once with the brightness reduced to 50%. The different units have different behavior when it reduces its brightness - get some contrast enhancement, while others do worse than be in full brightness.
