HTC Gratia

HTC Gratia
Introduction:

Compact but capable, quiet but edgy, old but new. It's HTC Gratia. Froyo lubricated gear, is the European version of the HTC Aria more than a name change - This droid is ready to storm the small Old World.

Android world is a stage in which to succeed on the big screens, making it difficult, frustrating for those who love their droid in a small package. Compact grace comes with a 3.2 "display and is considerably lower than competing phones on the same diagonal.

Before going any further than this is the essence of what is in store.

Design:

HTC Gratia is a rare thing - a compact Android. While most other models in a hurry to get bigger screens and bigger, stay focused on pocketability Gratia. Unlike some other droids compact, Gratia do not compromise on screen real estate.

The screen size is respectable for a compact phone - some of the other 3.2 "droids are often an inch taller than Gratia. HVGA resolution is also suitable for a 3.2" diagonal, but if you are in a WVGA screen, you will notice the loss of sharpness and detail immediately.

However, the LCD Gratia seems pretty good - it is bright with good color (not as good as if OLED) and viewing angles are ok too. Sunlight readability is not among the strengths of the screen: the sun, it is very difficult to read.

Control grace in front of the HTC consists of four capacitive and optical trackpad clickable buttons. The keys are the standard quartet Android - at home, menu, back and research. Optical trackpad surface is slightly and you can increase the precision gives go back and correct typos. The trackpad is also the strengthening of activities - even if we do it very rarely.
